- Wrap globe with plastic grocery bag and painter's tape. Spray base with Universal Metallic Pure Gold paint, let it dry, then remove the bag and tape.
- Apply Chalkboard Brush paint to globe with vertical strokes using a foam paintbrush. Use a small craft paintbrush to paint intricate spots near the north and south poles of the globe. Allow it to dry.
- Apply second coat of Chalkboard Brush paint with horizontal strokes. Allow it to dry.
- Prepare chalkboard for use by rubbing the entire chalkboard area with the side of a piece of chalk, horizontally and vertically, then erase.
- Use the chalkboard as a unique way to write lists, guest welcome messages, sleeping baby reminders, monograms, or sweet notes.
