- Turn the pots upside down and wrap the doily around them asymmetrically, tightly securing excess fabric on top with clothespins.
- Lightly spray paint each pot evenly with several light coats, and allow them to dry.
- Carefully remove the doilies to reveal the stencil pattern, then fill with potting soil and plants.
